Who We Are
YeBirhan Menged Alem Akef Church is a vibrant Christian community founded on the principles of faith, love, and service. Established in 1951, we have been serving our community for over seven decades, growing from a small congregation to a thriving church family.
Our church is built on the foundation of biblical truth and the transformative power of the Gospel. We believe in creating an environment where people can encounter God, grow in their faith, and discover their purpose in life.
As a community, we are committed to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service, striving to make a positive impact in our local community and beyond.
What We Believe
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works.
Biblical Authority
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our ultimate authority.
The Church
We believe in the universal church as the body of Christ and the local church's importance.

Our Vision
To see strong believers that fulfill the gospel and discipleship mission given by our Lord Jesus Christ. This includes engaging in holistic ministries within and outside Ethiopia while preserving unity and centrality.
Our Mission
Train and deploy gospel ministers and missionaries who are empowered by the Holy Spirit. Equip them to preach the gospel, instruct believers, establish local churches, create organizational structures, and contribute to social and national development.
